February 19, 2012—7th Sunday in Ordinary Time

In Christ and, now, in us, God is “doing something new”; we are the people he has formed to “announce” his praise (first reading). We are to be, like Jesus, God’s “yes” to the world, God’s word of forgiveness, healing, and love.

It is for each community to discern just how to convey God’s “yes,” to discover what works of mercy and healing need to be done.
