Parish Buzz: Bill Perkins of Friendship House completed three informational sessions at Resurrection on Empowerment Centers. Bill is expanding the Empowerment Centers into Pike Creek to address increasing needs. These centers offer coffee, clothing bank and employment assistance. Transitional and emergency housing are also offered by Friendship House. All clients are screened for these services.
Emmanuel Dining Room Coordinators are working hard to stay within the current budget. Food costs are rising and some changes have been made to the menu. Costco no longer carries the large size fruit salad so peaches have been substituted. Cannon’s Bakery is supporting more operations with their leftover desserts.
Bachetti Brothers meat costs are down at this time.

Reach out and connect to those we support through baptisms and funerals.
Let young parents know their young children are welcome.
