Applied for approval to use from in Christiana Hospital to leave in patients’ rooms. Aim to suggest a follow up to pastoral care upon discharge could be Resurrection Parish. Based on evidence that half of patients do not have a home church or parish. Continuing research of other Catholic parishes and colleges that have effective ministry to LGBTQ persons. Aim to form a connection among interested people. Aim to offer an informed pastoral care to those interested people. We regularly can see new faces. Two persons committed to work on census as a measure of success in goals. Progress made on checking regulations one signage. Develop handouts designed to hand on neighbor doors for seasonal use. Check regulations and how to details. |

Signage. (communications) Would be good to have one or two persons with knowledge of public publicity. (communications) Recruit and train more greeters. Eventually, have persons be a host or hostess at other events besides Sunday liturgy. ….with pastoral care. Point made that people become attached if a church was able to help then in time of crisis. Have not set up a follow up program to those who had baptisms here in the last 3 years. Aim to maintain a connection to the parish and eventually have them select Res parish for Christian Formation program. How to convey the uniqueness of the parish in an attractive way. May a “frequently asked questions” in the welcome section of the website AND a handout that is available. |

Since your last Status Report, what have you accomplished on your Objective & Goals work? |
We met with the leader for the Social Ministry Team, and agreed on a schedule for tables in the gathering space. (attached) We also met with the representative for LifeTouch. He reviewed their offerings for a parish directory, and for an online version that can be kept up-to-date pretty easily with periodic Photo Update dates – to include people who were missed the last time, or families that have changed since the last update. It seemed like a good option, and they also offer resources to coordinate the photo sessions and putting the booklets together. They also have an option called Community Connect vs a Classic Directory. The Classic Directory is very much like the ones we have had in the past. The Community Connect option is a smaller book with just the pictures and addresses for the parishioners/staff – no extra picture pages. The Community Connect is part of the option that has periodic updates – and the way you encourage people to get their pictures taken is that only the people getting their picture taken get a copy of the directory. We thought that the Community Connect option would be the way to go, and we could look at doing a special memory book for the 50th Anniversary that would be separate. |

We will need some additional people to help with the effort for the Parish directory once we determine which format/vendor is the best way to go. We will need to have them verify contact information for parishioners and potentially coordinate picture submission. |
